It should be noted that these are one of a kind records of history past. The receipts and letters cover a period from 1825 to 1839 or some 14 years with the exception of the years 1827 and 1835 which were not among the records when purchased. These are the only records of this company's transactions and each piece of paper is handwritten with signatures of the parties who purchased or sold items. In some cases the requests for items was sent via Sloop or Schooner with instructions to send the items back by these boats. In some cases the items were received by a wharf from one of the boats and is signed by the Captain or Master of the boat, and name of wharf.

These are Rare one of a kind pieces of history. In order to make these receipts and records collectively available to the public and those who might wish to view them or use them for research this book is dedicated. Many hours have been spent scanning these receipts and letters in true color so that one can see them as they are. I have made them larger than original so they are easier to read.

The Seller give permission to the buyer to copy any of these records for the buyer's own personal use in web pages or genealogy pages and such. The buyer may not reproduce this CD for commercial purposes.
