On the front blank page is written in ink the name James Stanton Bailey 1851 Brooklyn, N.Y.

Also another note in pencil To W.S.B for J.S.B jr. Dec. 31, 1897.

 This Old Bible is forsale. It was purchased a number of years back as the purchaser is both a collector of Bibles and interested in Genealogy. Since learning of the Genealogy within the purchaser is now making this information available to all the family members here FREE!. Since the Bible was purchased it is being offered, hopefully to a family member, for the price of $45. plus S&H. It is a very heavy made Bible but like all old leather and board Bibles it has begun to come loose at the spine. Overall it is still in very good condition.
